I’ve been in the personal development business for nearly 30 years and one thing that has remained consistent throughout is that people love tools, tactics and “how to’s.”
However, unless you have the proper mindset (approach, perspective) these tools are of very limited value. You can do all the right things with the wrong attituted (mindset) and the results will show.
Have you ever had an experience of a child thanking you for something that they don’t particularly feel greateful after being prompted by the parents to do so? That is totally different than having a child who genuinely feels thankful expressing those feelings. Same tool, different mindset.
