Seth Godin’s blog post Personal branding in the age of Google is a perfect example of how everything we do can either benefit or hurts us. I’m not talking about Karma here. I’m talking about day-to-day actions that will show up somewhere that will either hurt us or benefit us. The good news is that thanks to Google we can now find just about anything we are looking for. The bad news is that thanks to Google others can find out EVERYTHING about us.

This is so perfect! It just goes to show that we should be living our lives as if our children (whether we have any or not) are always watching and imitating — because, they are. On SOOO many levels. You see it as they become adults and repeat the patterns of your own life – usually the ones you had prayed they wouldn’t… You see it as they interact with their school mates and teachers – and hopefully, you’re proud. You see your impact on the grocer, the taxi-driver, the love of your life – make eye-contact and give them the hope you have in your soul – it only makes your own grow and grow….
